Document 88 - Amendment to the Act on the State Social Assistance Benefit – RJ

The Act postpones the entitlement to the new state social assistance benefit for existing recipients of the abolished benefits from April to July 2026 and extends the transition period to maintain continuity of support. At the same time, it postpones some follow-up effects, in particular changes to the amounts of the subsistence minimum and the deadlines for drawing up support plans, in order to reduce the administrative burden on the Labour Office. It also modifies related laws so that the new benefit does not count as income for other purposes. The changes are mostly technical and timing changes, with no impact on benefit levels.
