Summary

The bill grants the police the authority to temporarily close a business if products that seriously endanger life or health are being sold or distributed there and there is a risk that this activity will continue. In urgent cases, the police may intervene even before an assessment by the supervisory authority, which must confirm the risk within 48 hours; the closure may last for a maximum of 14 days. The operator may file an objection within three days and should be granted supervised access to remove hazardous products or protect property. The law is set to take effect on the first day of the second month following its promulgation.
