Document 269 - Amendment to the Act on Technical Requirements for Products – EU – RJ

Scope: Part One–Part Four; § 1–§ 54; pages 1–16.

The bill transposes the Czech regulations on construction products into the new EU regime in accordance with EU Regulation 2024/3110. It repeals older transitional provisions in the Act on Technical Requirements for Products and transfers the rules for CE-marked construction products to the Act on Conformity Assessment, where it specifies the competent authorities, the Czech language for documents, and the information system. It temporarily maintains the validity of existing authorizations and notifications only until January 8, 2030, unless they are renewed. The Act also extends oversight and the scope of responsible entities to online sales and services involving the complete fulfillment of orders; most of the changes are to take effect shortly after promulgation, while some repeals will not take effect until January 8, 2040.
